[One of the Twelve, who was called Judas Iscariot,
went to the chief priests and said,
“What are you willing to give me
if I hand him over to you?”
They paid him thirty pieces of silver,
and from that time on he looked for an opportunity to hand him over.] (Mt. 26:14-16)

The price tag placed on Jesus’s life was a mere thirty pieces of silver. That’s all! His friend Judas and the chief priests agreed that the life of Jesus was only worth a handful of metallic coins.
Ironically the price tag Jesus placed on Judas’s life, His friend and betrayer, was infinite. That’s all! Judas’s savior declared from the cross that his life was priceless. Judas’s life costed Jesus His own.
What price tag do you believe is placed on your life? You might agree intellectually that your life is priceless, but do you actually believe in your heart that your life is of infinite value? Jesus certainly thinks you’re worth it; that you’re worth it. He believed your life was worth His own. Your price tag does not have a dollar sign on it, but your price tag is imprinted with a cross, an infinite Love sign.
