President’s Friday Message

Dear Assumption Catholic Schools,

As we move into 2021, there are many challenges facing our nation. The thing I am most grateful for is that by working in the Catholic education environment, we can express and use our faith to help resolve and comprehend the issues of the day. I continue to pray for all of us, for the future of our nation and our world and most importantly for the guidance of our faith in working through these times.

Our virtue this week is FORGIVENESS – The strength to write off a debt of any kind and start fresh with a clean slate. To truly forgive someone from our heart is one of the hardest things we can ever do. It takes a tremendous amount of virtue. Let’s start by FORGIVING someone in our family who may have offended us in some way.
PRAYER
Lord, first and foremost, thank You for FORGIVING us, for giving us Your life on the Cross. Thank You for the gift of the sacrament of Reconciliation where we can go and freely receive the complete forgiveness of everything we have ever done. Thank You for the peace that comes from Confession.

PRAYER
Lord, give us all the strength to go to the Sacrament of Reconciliation soon so we can be at peace with You. Also please give us the strength to ask forgiveness of someone we may have offended. Amen.

May God continue to bless the United States and may we receive His graces with confidence.
Mary Seat of Wisdom Pray for us
St. Joseph, pray for us
All holy men and women pray for us

In Christ’s Peace
Daniel Minter
