President’s Virtue Message November 4, 2022

Posted on Nov 4, 2022 by

Dear Assumption Catholic Schools,

The calendar has turned to November and we approach the end of the liturgical year.  Today, on this first Friday, can you spend some time with Jesus either in person or in spirit.  We remember the greatest gift given to humankind by God the Father – Jesus became man, was crucified, died, was buried and rose again.  He did this for our salvation.  We celebrate this every time we receive the Eucharist.  The body, blood, soul and divinity of our Lord.

The virtue of the week is sacrifice – the strength to forgo one’s own benefit for the good of others.  Jesus sacrificed His life for us, What can we sacrifice for others?  The slide deck can be viewed here.. Sacrifice 2022 Mini PDF

May God continue to bless you and your family.  Please continue to pray for Assumption Catholic Schools.  May we remain steadfast in our faith, true to the teachings of the Catholic church and help lead all we encounter to know the truth, beauty, and goodness of God’s creation.

In Christ’s Peace

Daniel Minter
