President’s Virtue Message December 16 2022
Dear Assumption Catholic Schools
This weekend we enter into the fourth and final week of Advent. The time of waiting, expectation and hope is almost over. I pray that your advent journey has been a faith filled opportunity to come closer to God and to bring God into everything you do.
Our virtue strength this week is silence – the strength that disposes the soul to come closer to God. Sometimes our lives are so noisy we cannot hear what God is saying or asking of us. Spending a few moments in silence can help center you and can open you to God’s word.. Think about the Mass and how we spend time after each part in silence before moving on or think about Adoration and spending time in silence before Jesus,
