President’s Friday Virtue

Dear Assumption Catholic Schools

Our Lenten journey with Jesus continues.  We fast, we pray, we give alms.  How has your journey been?  Have you been able to spend time contemplating the good that we have?  Yesterday, the Middle and High School students heard a talk by Christopher Stepanick – his theme was be joyful.  Do not think of the bad in your life but focus on the positive.  Start your day, thanking God for our blessings big and small.

The strength this week is generosity – being happy to help.  The Catholic view of stewardship is giving time, talent and treasure.  Each of us can be generous to others in numerous ways – some financial, some spiritual and some physical. How can you show generosity to those you encounter?  More on the slide deck. Generosity 2022-2023 Mini PDF

Have a blessed week

In Christ’s Peace
