Prudence
The virtue for January is PRUDENCE. the strength that disposes practical reason to discern our true good in every circumstance and to choose the right means of achieving it.
Prudence is the “charioteer of the virtues.” It directs all the other virtues, making sure they are all going in the right direction. Prudence is NOT just being cautious.
Prudence isn't merely about knowing the good, it's about doing the good. Prudence helps us to know the truth and the best way to act at all times, make good decisions, do good and avoid evil.
The opposing vice is IMPRUDENCE. The weakness to rush into decisions or actions without careful consideration.

secondly, to do it in the manner He wills it;
and thirdly, to do it because it is His will.”
