Assumption Catholic Schools (ACS) SMS Policy
Purpose of SMS Communications
Assumption Catholic Schools utilizes SMS (text messaging) to provide parents and guardians with timely information regarding:
Emergency alerts (e.g., school closings).
Student-related matters, including academic progress and behavior.
Event notifications and schedule changes.
Consent to Receive SMS Messages
By enrolling a student at Assumption Catholic Schools and providing your mobile phone number(s), you consent to receive SMS notifications as described above. Message frequency may vary, with subscribers receiving up to 5 messages per week. Message and data rates may apply.
Privacy of Your Information
ACS is committed to protecting your privacy. We do not share, sell, or distribute your mobile phone number(s) to third parties for marketing or any other purposes. Your contact information is used solely for official school communications.
Opt-Out Procedure
If you wish to stop receiving SMS messages from ACS, you can opt out at any time by replying "STOP" to any of our messages. Alternatively, you may contact our main office at 715-422-0900 or email dminter@assumptioncatholicschools.org with your name and mobile number, requesting removal from our SMS list. Please note that opting out may result in missing important communications from the school.

Effective Date
This policy is effective as of December 1, 2024. Assumption Catholic Schools reserves the right to modify this policy as needed.
By maintaining your child's enrollment and your contact information with ACS, you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined in this SMS Policy.
Assumption Catholic Schools collects mobile phone contact information from all persons having custody of students enrolled in Assumption Catholic Schools. By enrolling your child in Assumption Catholic Schools, you agree to receive text messages for emergency alerts such as school closings. We may also send messages to you regarding your child’s school work or behavior.
