First Friday

Posted on Sep 4, 2020 by

Today is the first Friday and I encourage you to spend some time and reflection on the gift that is our faith and especially the gift that is the Eucharist – the Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Virtue of the Week – Leadership
The strength to serve others without seeking to be served yourself. Every single one of us has the potential to be a great LEADER because we are all capable of serving.
PRAYER
Lord Jesus, You were the best LEADER of all time because You came to earth, lived for us, worked for us and died for us knowing that we would never be able to repay You. Help us to LEAD like You.

Franciscan University sponsors many fine activities for building faith. One such opportunity is called Franciscan at Home. Just recently they have released a series of videos designed to help parents build and encourage the faith within their families. Assumption Catholic Schools has an account with Franciscan at Home and everyone staff and families is invited to create an access to their programs. In addition to the family oriented materials they have a whole host of videos about different parts of our faith.

Here are the instructions for Franciscan at Home
