President’s Friday Message

The game tonight is now an exhibition game with Weyauwega Fremont. We play a level 2 playoff on Nov. 19.
Winter sports start soon, please check the calendar on the website for details.

Not only on November 1st and 2nd do we remember the dead but throughout all of November we are asked to pray for the deceased that they may find their eternal home in Heaven.

Needless to say 2020 has been a year few of us will soon if ever forget, although we might want to. I am so proud and thankful to the staff at Assumption Catholic Schools. They continue to go above and beyond to fulfill our educational and faith mission.

With the holidays approaching, I ask that you make wise choices in what you do and where you go. Most often it is actions outside of school that will cause us to have to look at remote learning for groups of students. As we have since the start of school, monitor yourselves and your family for symptoms of COVID and if possible err on the side of prudence in keeping sick people home until you can determine if it is COVID or another illness.

At the present time, we have no plans to change our 5 days per week in person instruction as our main mode of learning. Some of our sister schools in the Diocese are adding in remote days but we have no plans to do so. Our primary reason is how us not being in school affects the parents who have to find care for children if the buildings are closed.

Stay Safe, Stay Well and Make Wise Choices.

Mary Mother of God pray for us
in Christ’s Peace
