President’s Friday Message

Posted on Apr 3, 2020 by

As we conclude the Lenten season and move into Holy Week, let us take a moment to pause and reflect on the times we find ourselves in. Faith and prayer are very important and can help you deal with the trials and tribulations of the time. May God continue to bless and strengthen you and your loved ones.

Father Becker is celebrating Mass and live streaming it on our Facebook page from Christ the King Catholic Church in Spencer, WI Sunday at 5pm.

Here are the list of songs that his mother and sister will be playing.
Entrance:
“The King of Glory”

Preparation of the Gifts
“Were You There?”

Communion
“Now We Remain”

Closing
“Lord Let Me Walk”

Bishop Callahan’s blog – There is a River – offers insights on celebrating Holy Week with the Domestic Church and live streaming opportunities from the Diocesan web site.

In addition, my post from earlier this week on the Holy Week @ Home activities has resources you can use.

Other posts from past days list opportunities for local live stream, drive-in and recorded Masses from Sacred Heart, Saints Peter and Paul and St. Vincent de Paul. I also believe that several of the local parish buildings are open for private prayer – check with the specific parish office on hours.
