President’s Virtue Message September 22

Greetings Assumption Catholic Schools,

Our wonderful fall weather is continuing.  Every day we see around us the beauty and goodness of all that God created.  Can you spend a few moments in prayer and reflection?  God has provided so much for us – even to the point of sending His Son, our Lord Jesus Christ to die to redeem us.  Every time we celebrate Mass, the Holy Eucharist is a visible sign of God’s love for humankind.  The Eucharist is the body, blood, soul, and divinity of Jesus given to us at the Last Supper. It is given to us everytime we receive Holy Communion.

From Virtue=Strength this week we have the strength of prayerfulness.  Prayerfulness-2023-Mini-PDF

The strength by which I spend time alone talking with God..

God wants us to talk to Him.  It can be prayers of thanksgiving or intercession.

The opposing wesakness is irreverence.

The weakness to not pray or give proper respect to God.

In Christ’s Peace
